As a textile artist I know how hard it can be sometimes to choose the right ingredients to start creating your foundation base for your sewing and collage projects ...
You have an idea for your project such as making a Stitch Sampler Wrap, Stitch Bobbin or perhaps a mini textile art quilt and often have a huge stash of fabrics to choose from, maybe a few vintage treasures that you wish to add into the delicious project and yet for whatever reason you just can't find the right combination of thread and cloth to actually get things rolling...
So, after many requests I now offer some of my own inspirations that will help to take away that worry when you get started...
My Slow Stitch Patchwork Wrap bundle offers you a lovely selection of different options to choose from depending on the type of project you are wanting to create, that help you make a foundation base when stitched together as a collage.
Once you have your foundation as a starting point you can then add your own personal touch on top with some stitching, embellishing or free motion embroidery....
Extra softness...
...you may wish to add some softness to your project by adding a backing of supersoft cosy interlining or you might want to create a quilt sandwich with a little bonded cotton interlining but the choice is entirely up to you. (If you wish to add any of these to your order simply click on the highlighted link) If you are thinking of adding some free motion embroidery you may prefer to add in some Stitch & Tear interlining before your backing.
Why call them a wrap?
The reason is simple.... I love to wrap my stitched work often into a roll around old bobbins or twigs so I always think of them as lovely warm wraps for my sewing!

Not only do they provide easy storage they help to protect your work as well as making them quite transportable when taking your projects to workshops and classes
Each of my wrap bundles are individual as contents will vary.
They offer a generous selection of beautiful quality cloth snippets of varying sizes, textures and in some cases, patterns to create your own patchwork style along with a piece of calico to stitch it onto measuring approx 1 yard
I have left many of the pieces un-ironed or frayed to encourage sewers to dabble with the unkown...
