These suffolk puffs are gorgeous!

Rescued pieces taken from a treasured vintage quilt created in the 1930's and 40's from scraps of cotton.

Some are showing their age a little with surface dust and a few snips, but all have a beautiful individuality that captures the designs of the era...

I wonder who stitched them?

What was happening all around them as they sewed?

Where did the cloth come from? Favourite dresses perhaps?

Each one holds its own beautiful story between the threads....
